I’m Back!

The Bellagio FountainsVegas was fun (yes, there was eating, drinking, flirting, and gambling), but I think I’m either getting too old for it or it’s just lost its luster for me. Or quite possibly both. Or maybe it was seeing all the couples that bummed me out. A lot. Anyway, as much as I enjoyed getting out of LA for a weekend, I am very much looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and not waking up to the Bellagio fountain tonight.

And for those of you following along at home, the Brit called from out of town the night before I went to Vegas. He’ll be down south for business for a couple of weeks but said we’ll chat soon. We shall see.

In other news, this blog is so boring again isn’t it? I really need to figure out what to do with it.

Ditto what Jenn said. While it may bore you — which I can understand, as I suspect blogging becomes just one more thing on one’s to-do list pretty quickly — it doesn’t bore your readers.

Welcome home. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope all goes well with you and the Brit. :)

I don’t need to keep reminding you that your “boring” blog provokes more conversation in a day than mine does in two weeks, do I?

Thinking of you.

Always well put by Esther. But it’s your stuff, and if you want a break, you deserve it, certainly. It’s only your life, right? Thanks for reminding folks about the baking blog too. Cheers & Good Luck, ‘VJ’

I have a cast of characters question! Is your friend that you went to the party with also known as Samantha, because she met an English guy the same weekend you did, and your guy has a brother, and so…
