Weekend Stuff

The majority of my weekend was spent doing this:
Organized Chaos

The rest of the weekend went like this:

  • Drove down to San Diego in less than two hours on Friday night.
  • Spent from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday baking cookies and cupcakes.
  • Pretty (with flash)Realized after the cancellation (again, due to work) of tentative date number three, I most likely won’t be meeting the Artist. But that’s okay, because a) he smokes; and b) he doesn’t have a stove. Yes seriously. He has a hotplate and toaster oven. This is not acceptable when you’re 36.
  • Watched both adults and kids’ faces light up when I brought the cupcakes over to my parents’ neighbor’s house.
  • Spoke to a new Jdate guy (we’ll call him Computer Guy since he works in computers) for a bit on the phone. His condo has all the regular appliances, as well a barbecue.
  • Made it back to LA in about two hours.

The end. I’m beat.

Is a “stove-less artist” another term for a “starving artist”? Hee hee.

Yeah, stove at 36 is a must. I dated a guy who didn’t believe in heat in Alabama, because it didn’t get THAT cold. It does get THAT cold. Also, the heat was gas fueled, so that meant no hot water as well.

Does computer guy smoke?

Nope. Computer Guy is a non-smoker.

He doesn’t have a stove. Not only is that not AT ALL acceptable at 36 (when IS it acceptable?), the fact that you’re a baker makes the match so, uhhh, matchless.

Since Computer Guy works in computers, does that mean he is really short? LOL

Sounds like Artist Guy is looking for a Mommy!

Dating a smoker SUCKS. They’re always trying to quit, makes them crabby and short-tempered, and then they don’t actually quit and geet all mad when you smell cigarette smoke on their clothes/person and accuse them of slipping.

Next!

I didn’t have a an oven in my first apartment in NY but I had a stove and a toaster oven. I was only 20 though.

my ex didn’t have a stove and used to come over to my apartment to cook because he “missed it” i think what he meant was he missed nearly lighting someone’s house on fire and making HUGE messes.

Wait…”we’ll call him Computer Guy since he works in computers”.

In computers? Unless they are very large computers he is likely a very small man. Guys like about their height, or at least I do. Don’t be surprised if he’s the size of an action figure.
