Happy New Year

I’m back in LA. The scabs almost gone. Yay! Tomorrow morning is my two week follow-up with the ENT, and if all goes as planned, I’ll be back at work following the appointment.

I hope everyone had a very fun and safe New Year’s Eve, and here’s to a happy and healthy 2007!

Good to hear you’re on the mend Hilary. Happy New Years, and can we rent your mom out for private nursing service? Just wondering… Cheers & Good Luck! ‘VJ’

I’m feeling a lot better…still have a sore throat (to be expected) and some ear pain. The doctor said I’m healing very quickly and that my tongue numbness and loss of taste buds should return to normal within a few months. I’m to remain on the boring soft foods/no spicy, acidic, or hot food diet for a couple more weeks. No gym or breaking a sweat for two weeks as well. And I’m finally allowed to sleep laying down. Woohoo!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to the coolest, rad-est baking-est Jew I know. (My sister in law doesn’t count, because she doesn’t bake.)

I wish for you all wonderful things - a fabulous date with an amazing guy and for your throat to heal perfectly, thusly allowing your melodious voice to come forth and stagger the producers of the Food Network to the point that they HAVE to give you that baking show you were destined for.

Yeah. That would rock.

Happy New Year! I second Connie’s raves and hope 2007 brings tons of tonsil-free greatness.
