I Guess I’ll Stop Complaining Now

Five day forecast for Los AngelesEarlier in the week, a family friend in Michigan called my parents to brag about the warm temperatures in Detroit. It should be noted that while the weather was in the 60s both in Southern California and Detroit, we were bundled up in sweaters and jackets and they were wearing shorts and t-shirts. Not anymore! Anyway, this is our five day forecast. Jealous much?

Yay!! No More Freezing Legs For This Girl Who Moved To A Warmer Climate Just So She Wouldn’t Have To Wear Pantyhose!

The weather in Virginia has been the same as in California?! Thank goodness the temp is supposed to drop to the 50’s this weekend. This warm weather spell totally sucks the enjoyment out of fall as I am back to wearing my summer t-shirts and lightweight clothing. I want to wear my yummy cashmere and corduroy and turtlenecks without sweating! I’m hoping that we get a lot of snow later to make up for this…..snow days, yeah!

It’s like 70 here in Baltimore too. I haven’t worn a winter coat yet!

Weather ala North Texas: Drive home from work Wednesday afternoon, 74 degrees. Drive home from work Thursday afternoon, 29 degrees with snow. Noon on Friday, 43 clear and sunny. Texas weather…..priceless! (Not always in a good way, either!) LOL! :)

Yeah, it’s pretty warm in the DC area right now, but it’s supposed to get about 25 degrees cooler by tomorrow. Global warming? I’m FOR it! (If I made a t-shirt saying that would you guys buy it? ;) )

8 or 9 months of warm weather in LA is more than I can take. I like cold Christmas’. I like cold weather and rain. Nothing like being home, nice and toasty and veg in front of the tv.

To the perpetual blizzard of Saskatchwan: “kiss my frozen ass” (be sure to read the “feels like” section)

yeah, this is that time of year when the east is talking to the west a lot because of the holidaze. And occasionally they’ll have a comparable day of weather. Their chests will swell up a little bit and they may even be giddy enough to compare real estate prices. If they’re drunk you’re likely to hear a bad Schwarzenegger impression.

But, of course, as soon as the new year starts and the snows/black ice/wind chills come they’ll shut the f up.

It was really warm last week in NYC but it sure made up for it today! Brrrr… I’m jealous, SoCal!

SO jealous. It is currently 18 degrees here in Chicago, and the weather channel tells me it feels like 5. As if they need to tell me that.

It’s cold to Californians, but for those of us out of town, it’s still warm. I walked the dog with shorts and T-Shirt in 50 degree weather, while my LA native friend was bundled up.
