Bye Bye Tonsils

Tomorrow is the big day! I’m kinda nervous, but I’m even more excited and looking forward to not having chronic Strep. What a difference that will be!

I’ll try to post something later this week, but in the meantime, happy holidays!

Lotsa luck! I know you’re having the surgery here but going to SD for recuperation. When will you be back in town?

Yay for your continuing healthiness to be able to finally be post tonsil. Best thoughts for you and the surgeon, nurses, anesthesiologist (spelling?), and all others involved.

Good luck! I had that surgery done in 2004 years ago (when I was 27), and it wasn’t the easiest on me, but I had complications. If you have any questions, or need advice on how to control the pain, feel free to email me!

You’re gonna be great! Eat LOTS of cold things, like slurpees, and milkshakes, but with a spoon, NOT a straw, that **cold** feels wonderful on a sore throat. Hope you’re feeling great soon!! :)

Good luck with that Hilary, and we wish you a speedy recovery. Put a post it note with your phone number in a conspicuous place right before you go under. Can’t hurt, right? (I know, it’s out patient, and there’s only one married doc there, right?) Cheers & Good Luck, ‘VJ’

here’s to being tonsil-free! you know, when you’re recuperated from your tonsillectomy, you should have a big party and celebrate having those evil germ magnets gone.

plus, i’m sure you’ll be all pent up party-wise from having to skip so many of them on account of the aforementioned germ magnets.

hope you’re feeling better real soon!
