My disorganized kitchen has been driving me nuts, and I hated searching for lids in my narrow, deep cabinet. So, I went to my favorite store and bought one of the most wonderful inventions ever–a pull out, sliding, lid organizer.

Several times a year, I match containers with lids. If one or the other is missing, into the recycling bin it goes. Then I feel like I’ve tackled a Big Project, and can go on with my life.

Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we’re going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don’t know, I don’t know if we’ll have enough time.
Wow, there must be something in the air, because I spent about a half hour yesterday organizing my tupperware and storage containers. My solution was an old shoebox for the lids, but that sliding organizer is really nifty!
