Not Hot

This morning I paid $2.59 a gallon for 87 at the Mobil station by my apartment. It cost me $25 to fill up my little Civic.

That’s. Just. Wrong.

ARGH! I saw gas over $2.50 as well. I got all upset sitting in my car thinking about what to cut out of the budget to afford gas.

Then, I started to feel like I’m totally turning into my mom. I can remember being little and my mom complaining about prices all the time. Now, I DO THAT!

So I am trying to adjust my brain to get used to this astonishing trend toward $3 per gallon. I am now thinking Zen thoughts and breathing deeply.

ha! I just paid $2.63 for 87. I stopped at $15 in the hope that in the next week or so the price will go down. I dont know why - it seems pretty unlikely. but I just can’t bring myself to pay $30 to fill my car.

Not to be a bra, but I just bought a scooter and it gets 80 miles to the gallon and holds 2.5 Gallons. Filling up costs about $5 and I only have to do it once a month. Great Investment with the soaring gas prices.
