Sigh…but they’re just such opposite ends of the spectrum. My wife can attest, the funny ones are the best catches. Of course, she finds it incredibly funny when I get dead silence after I say something that I think is hilarious, so take the term “funny” as relative.

it’s been my experience that the ones who find it impossible not to be funny (they’re always “on”, always looking for a laugh) have issues that make them ill suited for a relationship with a normal human being.
